Summer Time Lovin’
Here we are in the midst of summer 2026. It’s been a hot one so far! The calves born in the Spring love frolicking in the grass with their mama’s and we love to watch them. The chickens love foraging the ground for bugs and the pet Pygmy goats love receiving pets from visitors.
At the farm store, we are enjoying the fruit of the land (and the labours of the gardeners/farmers) as we have in stock a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are also stocked with grass-fed and finished beef, chicken and a variety of pork.
Here’s some things you need to know about the farm store…
For those of you who may be looking for our online store, you may notice that it’s not there anymore. This is not a mistake – we have taken it down. Our farm store is still open (same hours). If you have a question for us please go on over to the contact us tab where you will find three ways to contact us.
- We now carry Hoover’s Organic Maple Syrup! Dark and Amber grades available in 500 ml or 1 litre glass bottles. Mmmm, so good!
- We have bar soap (body and dish soap) and other lovely products from Exodus Beauty. Check them out the next time you are in the store.

Located just outside of Kitchener, Ontario in Waterloo Region, we enjoy the fertile lands on the foothills of the Baden Hill which have provided food and have been home to many people for a long time. Our farm was first settled in 1848 by the Jutzi family, one of the early Mennonite families in the area. They came here for the good soil to grow food for their family and community, just like we do today!
In 2023 we celebrated 25 years of farming and 175 years of homesteading at this location. Down the road at 1812 Bleams Road, we also celebrated 20 years there, which is now in the hands of the next generation, our son Freddy.
